Seats approx. 288 in fixed pews with room for about 20 more chairs at back. With the movable wall retracted to the first position, another 50 or so can be accommodated. With the wall totally retracted about 200 more could be seated. Our Allen organ was purchased from choir funds, memorial funds, and individual donations. The Communion Table and Baptismal Font came from the Windsor Junction and Waverley churches.

The Blair Fellowship Hall

commonroom-Small

The Blair Fellowship Hall is a large bright space with plenty of windows. This is not your typical church hall. The hall is used as a meeting space for community groups such as Sparks, Brownies, and Guides, and of course is used for church functions such as the annual Strawberry Festival now 58 years in the running. If you or your group wish to use the hall for a special event or for regular meetings. Please read our guidelines for hall usage.

Kitchen

kitchen

Builtin oak cupboards, Commercial Dishwasher. Other appliances include two stoves, a fridge, a cooler, three sinks and stainless steel cupboard, and an inset food-warmer. The UCW has been gratefully responsible for setting up and maintaining the kitchen.

Sunday School

The Sunday School is located upstairs and has sliding partitions to sub-divide classes, or open up when the whole area is needed. The area also includes a Kitchenette, a bathroom, a separate class/meeting room and several storage closets. Down the hall is a beautiful Nursery with attached changing/quiet room and a mirrored window that over-looks the sanctuary for mothers who wish to follow the service while cuddling a baby. Also in the Nursery is the bell rope which rings the old Waverley church bell installed in the new steeple.

A\V System

Our A\V system features digital and video capabilities throughout the building. It is a state of the art sound system including wireless microphones, support for the hearing impaired and digital projector with automatic screen. The service in the sanctuary and/or musical programming can be recorded and distributed to all areas. In addition, the telephone system includes paging and intercom capability to six different locations.
