KD Lunch Dessert Donations / Cookie Jar: Thank-you to all who donate to our KD Lunch Program. If you can donate cookies / squares / sweets to replenish our dessert supply please drop them in the cookie jar located just outside the sanctuary.
WiseCafe – Wed. Apr 29th @ 2pm – 4pm, St. John’s United Church. Scams and Senior Safety, a Halifax Regional Police Program, run by volunteers who share tips on protecting yourself against crime, fraud and scams. Winter weather is behind us so come on out and gain some insight on living safely. Worship begins with Grant Kerr at 2pm followed by this program at 2:30pm.
To Breathe, To Sing, To Enjoy, To Love (Benefit Concert) – May 1st @ 7pm at St. John’s United Church. Help us raise funds for the Harvey family as they move to Toronto to await a lung transplant for Eileen who has Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. The concert features: The Nova Scotia Mass Choir, Linda Carvery, Lela Coles, Bill Harvey and Eileen Joyce.
The Ecumenical Breakfast has been rescheduled and is now taking place on Sat. May 2nd @ 8:30am, SJUC. This is a time for the men of our community churches to come together and share in fellowship. Please feel free to bring a friend…all men are welcome! There will be guest speakers, great food, and music. If you have any questions or able to help with the breakfast please contact Grant Kerr at 902-229-7199.

Step Up & Walk for your Neighbour; Taking place June 7th, walk for your neighbour is a 3km walk + celebration drawing the community of Halifax together to raise awareness and fund for our neighbours in need.
Start: Blessed Mother Teresa Church (6032 Normandy Drive)
End: Hope Cottage (2435 Brunswick St)
