White Gift Service

On December 11 at St. John’s, the service focus will be centered around the White Gift.  The origin of the White Gift Sunday dates back to the early 1900s.  The idea is for gifts to be wrapped in white paper so they are anonymous.  Anyone wishing to participate in the donation of a small gift for a child is welcome to bring it at that time.  Please label on the gift the age intended and gender. The gifts will be taken to the Lion’s Club for distribution.

Deadline for Annual Reports

Sunday, January  29, 2012.
There will be a congregational meeting Wed Dec 14, 6:15pm in SJUC fellowship hall to approve the JNAC report.  The report will be circulated via the church email list and we will arrange to have additional printed copies available once the final revisions and corrections have been made.

10th Annual Celebration of Lights

Fill out your form in the entry and give it to Michael or Connie Corkum or put it on the offering plate.  Michael will be in the narthex before and after church to take your orders.  Deadline today.

Please pick up your 2012 boxes of envelopes in the Church Narthex.  If you have any questions/concerns please phone Anna Taylor (407-2280) or email: annataylor@eastlink.ca.
