“Keep Christ in Christmas”: Come celebrate the birth of Christ with song, readings and fellowship. Sun. Dec. 18, 7pm – St. Rose of Lima Church

Are you a 50+ singer? Would you like to swing some 50’s and 60’s pop and swing? The Coastal Chorus , started in September, would lke to swell its ranks. Paul Simmins, our director and accompanist, is specially arranging pieces to suit the talents of the members. The winter term begins on January 6th at 1;30pm in Northwood Centre’s auditorium, 2615 Northwood Terrace. Come check us out! For more information contact the Centre’s community office at 454-3351.

CLG is exploring the amount of interest in a mini women retreat event in early January. This event would include reflections and scrap booking. A woman has been contacted to lead the scrap booking session for either a photo page for Christmas photos or any purpose cards. A sign up sheet has been posted on the bulletin board for signing up, pls note your preference (photo page or card).

Pennies for Peace: This Christmas the 300 dollars collected in the rolling of the pennies has been sent to a project entitled ” The McJoyful Christmas”, a special outing for orphans in the Ukraine. Please view the display in the foyer. Keep saving your pennies for a rolling party in the spring.
