Camp Kidston offers a “staff house” for their wonderful staff.   And they decided this summer that their Camp Cook, being a bit more mature than the rest of our staff, should have a separate sleeping area (a quieter sleeping area).   They are looking for the loan of a trailer to put in a corner of their property for the Cook to stay in.  This trailer will only have electricity hooked up (no water or septic) and be only for his use (no campers).  Summer camping season runs from June 27th to August 23rd.  This summer donation would be extremely appreciated; please contact Angela Falkenham – Registrar if you’re able to help.  ( / 835-2723)

SJUC will be taking part in the Ecumenical Breakfast with St Thomas Anglican and St Rose of Lima Catholic churches during Fall River Day Celebrations on July 1st.  It will be taking place at St Thomas Anglican from 8 – 10 AM. St John’s donation to the breakfast will be 24 dozen eggs; anyone willing to donate please sign on the sheet on the bulletin board. Eggs can be brought to St John’s and left in the fridge on Sunday Jun 22nd & 29th.  Heidi is also looking for a volunteer to help with the breakfast at 6:30 AM. Please let Heidi Carr know if interested in volunteering or with any questions @ 860-1834.

Clean up / Repair work at St. John’s United

As some of you are aware we incurred damage to our ceiling / attic area.  After investigations between our insurance company and building management team we are now able to move forward with the repair work.  The work will be done this July & August as it is a slower time within the church.  Access to the church may also be limited while the repairs are being completed.

Summer Worship: During July & August Sunday worship services will be held at Wellington United (76 Church Street) @ 9:30am.
