  • St. John’s United Church, Halifax, is hosting a Taize Prayer at the Maritime Conservatory of Performing Arts on Sun Oct 14th – 7p.m. 
  • Coffee & Conversation (SJUC) on Wed Oct 17th and 31st at 10am.  Don’t sit at home and have mid-morning coffee alone…come join us!  Anyone needing a drive contact Sandra Chard (860-1679 / sandrachard@hotmail.com)  It is hoped there will be enough interest to continue this in the coming months. 
  • Men’s Breakfast – Come out and enjoy the fellowship of our first Fall breakfast for all men in the Waverley Pastoral Charge.  It will be held on Saturday Oct 20th at 8:30am. Our guest speaker will be Rev. Matthew. 
  • Covenanting Service Sunday Oct 14th at 3pm for Rev. Matthew at St. John’s United.  Time of fellowship after the service. 
  • Where Are the Men?  A workshop sponsored by ASTIAA on Nov 1st and 2nd at St. Paul’s United Church Riverview, NB.  Registration Deadline October 25th.  This workshop explores some of the forces that inform and thus give shape to the male soul and is open to both ASTIAA and non-ASTIAA members who are interested in increasing spiritual literacy.  For more information please go online to www.astheology.ns.ca
