We are delighted to introduce Rev. Matthew Fillier, who begins as our minister on August 1, 2012.  He and his wife, Lorna Griffin-Fillier, have most recently been in Louisbourg at a two-point charge in Cape Breton, with previous experience at Trinity United in Lively, Ontario, Fort Massey United in Halifax and Camp Kidston.

Matthew has also been active in Presbytery and Maritime Conference work and he serves as an alumni member on the Board of Governors of the Atlantic School of Theology.

Perhaps most importantly, he brings many gifts for working with people in the pastoral charge, including a passion for preaching, creativity in engaging children and youth, commitment to pastoral care and a love of music.

Rev. Matthew’s first Sunday worship with us will be the combined service at 9:30 a.m. in Wellington United on August 5th. “
