Backup Needed In The Sound Room – Due to Hal’s changing work schedule, SJUC is in need of an additional person in the sound room.  Owen is graciously continuing to make sure the beat goes on, but it would be nice to have a second set of hands around the board and the projector.  Are you interested?  Please let Rev. Matthew or Tracey know by calling the church office (902-860-4000) or email Rev. Matthew (revmatthew@sjucfr.ca).

WiseCafé New Year’s Eve Celebration: Dec 31st,5:30pm-8:30pm (SJUC) This celebration is open to community members 60+ as well as a guest, if you don’t want to come alone.  If this guest happens to be an adult who doesn’t quite fit the 60+ range, bring them along anyway.  What’s important to note is the timing: we start with worship at 5:30pm and we finish with watching the countdown live-streamed from London, England at 8pm. You will be safely back home or onto the next party, before most people are even going out.  Worship is followed by potluck (dessert provided) and then some games. No need to be home alone when you can be here with friends. Come celebrate with us – just let Heather Kellerman know by registering ahead o
