Message from Sandra & John:  Hoping you all had an enjoyable summer.  John & I have resumed the Children’s Choir on Wednesday evenings @ 6:15pm….that being said we have enjoyed our many years working with the children and have decided that this will be the year that we hand the reins over.  We are confident that there are others in our congregation very capable of leading our children’s choir.   Talk to others you think might enjoy this great chance to work with the children of our church family.  It really is an amazing experience and actually quite fun! Remember you don’t have to do this on your own.  It can be a team effort with new ideas and creativity.  John and I are more than willing to work with the new leaders till they feel comfortable and make this transition very easy.

Christmas Boxes for Beacon House: each year our congregations are asked to donate items to help with filling the Beacon House Christmas boxes.  This year we have been asked to collect 250 cans of Cranberry Sauce.  I know it is early to think about Christmas, but Beacon House needs to have these items early so they can prepare the boxes.  If you are able to help please drop a few cans in the bin marked Cranberry Sauce collection.  You will see a bin at both Wellington & St. John’s as you enter the church.  Thank you for your donations.
Dedications – $20  If you would like to dedicate our bulletins/slides in memory of a loved one please contact the office at 902-860-4000 or by email –  tracey@sjucfr.ca
